More wist! More rumination and sensation of time utterly flying! Here I was, checking in as a run-up to next year's putative 30th reunion, and in scanning the "recent" messages, came upon my own post from... 2003! It's been a fast three years... I'm still writing columns and books (on my 5th "Danger Boy" book now, actually), still divorced, still missing Northern Cali, but mostly, still raising my two own "danger boys", now 12 and 7. Would love to hear from any BHS/School of the Art folk similarly expatriated to this large town south of Bakersfield...

Was talking with a friend today and suddenly realized how old I am. The scary thought hit me that it is now my 30th year since High School. What happend to all that time in between? Amazingly I found my old yearbook in a box under the house. (OK, I am a sentimental pack rat and proud of it.) Lots of nice memories in there! I am sad to not have found anything yet on the web about what is going on with Class of '76. However, I am very glad to see that Class of '77 is going strong. You guys are still better than the 76ers I guess.

It is always great looking at this site. My family and I had a wonderful time at the 25th reunion. Since then, we've had the pleasure of hooking up with Luther Jessie and his family several times, I've exchanged emails with Phil Wright, and hope to catch up with more classmates through this site and the 30th reunion. Although not a member of the Class of 1977 of BHS, Chris Scott Fortado Doherty passed away on Jan 19, 2006 in Lakeport, CA ... Chris' brother George Doherty some of you may remember as he went to BHS in our year. I attended the service in Sonoma. Mark Winston was also there. Hi. I was in the class of 77 but took lots of courses junior year to graduate early, with the class of 76. Great to recognize a lot of names here. I welcome personal, non-spam emails from anyone who remembers me, was in a class with me (mostly School of the Arts), etc. Have two grown kids (well, one's still a senior at USC) and am a writer and artist. Have been holed up in Bali, writing a novel, but still spend time in the bay area when I have to.
